| Good things come in small packages is a statement I have used for years to present myself (I’m 5 feet tall, don’t go by the low angled photos that make me look tall) but now I use this line to describe my mini bag collection to my mom who argues with me on the logic behind spending thousands on a bag that can barely fit a card and lipstick. Honestly the only thing I like about the summers is the happy & bright colours that it brings into our lives (our wardrobes I mean, coz our lives could still suck) 🤷🏻♀️ Now when I say bright and happy colours, I don’t really mean D&G level happy because no, whatever happens, I for sure don’t want random candy prints, emojis and hearts on my bag #nothanks Here are my top five mini bags for the season, I own about 3 of them and hopefully manage to get my hands on the other 2 (my reasoning with my mom needs to get stronger) Aspinal of London : The Kate Middleton in me absolutely loves this brand and whilst I may not opt for her classic bag from Aspinal Of London, this super cute hot-pink (they call it Penelope pink) card holder with a chain is definitely a mini-bag worth buying right now coz it’s on sale (not in the UAE) but on their website for AED 532 (Including shipping) and they deliver in less than a week – Buy it here  Jacquemus : One would imagine me sticking to the classic Jacquemus le chiquito bag but somehow I feel like as much as I love the brand Jacquemus, that particular bag is just done to death for me (everyone on the gram seemed to flaunt it) I instead opted for this Mini Le Bello Leather Cross-Body Bag – I bought mine from Ounass but its sold-out there, you can buy it from Selfridges for AED 1083  Tory Burch : This has got to be one of the most fun pieces by the brand, I mean I do have a standard black and beige colour sling by Tory Burch but this wasn’t exactly a brand I went to for a fun bag. This particular Tory Burch is a phone pouch that comes with a sling and you can find it several colours but the yellow one has my heart. It’s priced at AED 683 and you can it on Farfetch  LV Escale : So if you don’t own an LV already, I wouldn’t recommend this because I genuinely think your first LV should be the classic LV bag (you know the brown monogrammed one) that would legit be your companion forever (I had bought mine from my first salary and till date it’s one of my favs) having said that, if summer was a bag it would be the LV Escale, the pastel tie-dye like vibe to this mini pochette could brighten up even a dull outfit. You can buy it for AED 2240 from here  Off White : One could argue that this isn’t exactly a bright colorful bag because it’s white and black, but thanks to the classic off-white (but erm yellow) strap, this mini off-white bag makes it to my list. It is priced at AED 2659 (though it was on sale on Bloomingdales at half price a few days back) this one is undoubtedly one of my favourite purchases simply coz I get to team it up with a whole lot of outfits.
