My first impression of the product was great because it reminded me of the numerous times I’d be covered in sand up-neck during my frequent visits to the beach as a kid.
I had read and watched several great reviews about the clay body sand and couldn’t wait to try it out for myself but did I feel the same way about it?
The product is all natural, vegan, cruelty free and is supposed to be a four-in-one body scrub that claims to tackle cellulite, stretch marks and ingrown hairs, and improve skin texture.
The free shovel makes it easy to scoop out the sand scrub but the application is super messy and crumbles literally all over the place however contrary to what I thought, the texture of the clay body sand was quite smooth, I thought it would be rather rough.
The fragrance is almost non-existent and call me blind but I’ve no idea what shimmery after effect the brand is talking about because I saw none.
However the product does leave a coconut oil like feel to the skin which could be border line greasy for some. Overall it did moisturize my skin but somehow I wasn’t too convinced on the product. I think I paid the AED 141 more for the packaging than the product in itself.
P.S. I bought the product on Namshi but it seems to be sold out right now, you can also purchase it from ASOS (It’s for AED 180 here however)
